It's 5 energy so you only get 2 (or 3 with Apollo, a radiator really helps), but the base of the hitbox can be protected with armor well. Whirl: completely different from the "sniping" autocannons.
WebGiven the Steppenwolf driver explicitly benefits the Caucasus, I doubt it. They don't overheat and fire in short bursts, I've tried with charged radiators and improved cooler, burst length and pause is unaffected. Can't say about co-driver influence, but they count towards "machine gun" types of missions and dailies. WebRadiators essentially decrease the amount of heat generated per shot, so the weapon can fire more shots before overheating. Coolers increase the rate at which the weapon loses heat when not firing, however there is a short (I think it's either the firerate of the weapon or a flat 0.25 seconds) delay after firing before cooling starts that cannot be reduced.
WebSo it takes longer to destroy a grill part than normal parts with similiar hitpoints/structure. Becouse of that its good to mount weapons on grill parts. Hiding guns behind grill is not recomended, as the gun will recive the damage that passed through grill. Also you will be blocking your own gun as you cannot shoot through own grill parts.
