But I think you might find the 21X8 to big at anytime on the 35, depending on altitude, very true. for a 35 cc motor, most use 18 X 8. the DA 35 produces so much power, so 20 x 8 is more than enough! I would still with that for sure, and at 1st, then later on, you can see. Adjust ONLY, "ONLY" the LOW speed needle until you get a nice transition all the way up to high rpm. That being said, the DA is manufactured with better tolerances, materials and has better QC. I broke them both in on Stihl HD synthic oil at 32 to 1 using a VVRC 19x8 prop. After break-in I installed a VVRC 20x8 prop and did thrust test on both. I am getting 22 to 23 lbs of thrust from both engines.
