WebI had it on Very Easy because while DS isn't a horror game, it has its own horrific elements, and I was more concerned with seeing the whole story than getting the optimal experience. Then the game got easy in Chapter 3 with all the cool gear and the game seems to transform from horror to action.

They really only effected time limits, thresholds for item damages etc. It was still trivial to do just about anything and any of the fights were still laughably easy. WebThe hardest difficulty made the story hit the hardest at the moment it was supposed to. If I could do it all over again however, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m glad I played on Normal first and then Very Hard the second time. I’m putting the game away for now.
