Luckily, I have access to a lathe. So on my ford 5500 and dads 4500, we made our own out of 4140 pre-hardened. Not quite as hard as OEM, but is sufficient. Basically, lay down a sheet of plywood under the hoe. Extend the dipper stick out about 1/2 way, curl the bucket all the way and lower the boom until the pressure is off.
