WebFeb 12, 2024 · Had the car into Ford today to get it checked out and the outcome of the windscreen washer problem is that it was a blown fuse, they have been inundated with over 40 09 plate fiestas in the past week with the same problem. As time goes by I'm beginning to think I have a fluke fiesta with no problems or issues what so ever.

WebOct 7, 2013 · Generally, if the rear washer jet isn't working, it'll be one of three causes: 1) The washer fluid is low. 2) The jet is frozen. 3) The jet is blocked. My wife's Fiesta had a very similar problem. I could hear the pump running and the washer bottle was full. I disconnected a pipe near the bottle and washer fluid came spurting out. WebSeparate pumps for front and rear. Check with a test light to see if there is power to the pump. If it has power but won't work, replace the pump. If no power, you have a wiring issue. Be sure to turn the switch on and have someone push the washer button when you are checking for power. There won't be any until you push it to "wash".
