WebbIn recent decades, psychologists have proposed a number of further theories explaining personality. Some, such as Friedman and Rosenman, focus on an individual’s observable behavior. Other theories, such as the Five Factor Model, take a trait theory approach, seeking to understand personality in terms of specific attitudes and types of behavior.
